When Move4U were selected as the digital inventory provider for Ace Relocation Systems, we were excited by the prospect of delivering CrewPro to over 250 crews at the leading multi-location agent for Atlas Van Lines. But Chief Information Officer at Ace, Jeff Layton, had much greater aspirations for our digital inventory application.

The leadership at Ace had a vision of creating a complete move-day ecosystem that would not only deliver an easy-to-use accurate digital inventory for their customers and crews but would also capture all moving documentation in a digital format in a single place to speed the invoicing process and deliver administrative efficiencies. Added to that, there was the challenge of different Ace clients requiring customized paperwork, from corporate accounts to their relocation management company clients, as well as their military moves. And finally, as a top interstate agent for Atlas Van Lines, there was also the requirement to integrate CrewPro with the Atlas interstate moving system.

When we first met with Jeff Layton and the team at Ace it became obvious that there was a clear commitment from the highest levels of the company to make this happen—the most important part of any successful technology implementation. There was also a strong willingness to collaborate openly with the Move4U team, engaging the key stakeholders in the process including the team at Atlas Van Lines. We established a clear project plan and timeline that would see CrewPro rolled out to all crews at the Ace locations by the Spring of 2024 in time for the summer peak.

Through weekly project meetings and a lot of work behind the scenes from the Move4U, Ace, and Atlas Van Lines teams, we were able to overcome some complex integration challenges between their move management system and the Atlas platform to send move orders directly to CrewPro for their drivers to complete an accurate digital inventory and collect all documents in a digital format with signatures.
