Challenges and Opportunities in China

East Asia is a fast-developing region in multiple industries, especially in China. In our experience, new developments in China have a positive effect on the relocation and moving industry in many ways. In contrast, we very recently faced challenges to preserve and further expand our client base over the past three years due to Covid-19’s huge impact on global mobility. Therefore, we have made adjustments in our business strategies and the ways we target clients in the face of the downturn in global mobility.

Our primary goal has been to maintain connections with multinational client corporations we served in the past. Most of them have already established their factories or branches in different cities in China, while some have moved their operations to other countries in Asia. So, we have the opportunity to provide moving services for their expatriate staffs and their families’ household goods. Although our business volume was significantly affected by Covid-19, we still did our best to preserve clients by providing high-quality services and keeping in close communication with our clients.

We have made adjustments in the types of clients we target, as well. We shifted our focus from multinational companies to Chinese companies which seek to develop overseas. Nowadays the products made in China are of high quality and large quantity, and many Chinese companies have innovated with design and technology in their products. Massive companies and brands are seeking opportunities to export and sell their products to the world.

This shift in industry brings a great amount of commercial cargo export such as mobile phones, electric cars and so on. Meanwhile, many Chinese companies are also seeking to expand overseas. Their primary target is developing countries in southern regions of Asia such as Vietnam, Philippines, and Indonesia. We work with these Chinese companies to move offices, staffs and build factories, which also gives us great opportunities to expand our business to more cities and countries.

Overall, development in China is still under way, and so is the growth of our relocation and moving industry. The Chinese market is becoming more attractive to multinational enterprises, while more and more Chinese enterprises are moving towards the world market. With years of experience in the moving industry, we are excited to be a part of today's globalization activities and we are ready to conquer the challenges.
