A Good Partner is an Extension of Your Company

The mobility business is a different and very particular job. It’s a special service provision. As I usually say, “we work with the heart of the people, we transport the heart of each family with their household goods”—that is their personal effects and invaluable things, which requires a different posture and action in all processes, including choosing with whom you will “share your customer.”


Having worked in this industry for 20 years, I see different situations almost every day. We have several challenges in diverse departments in this industry, like logistics, customs, pandemic, strikes, higher costs in port charges, freights and more—which means that we must know how to deal with each adverse situation, and how to help the client through each issue, presenting a solution. That’s one of the millions of reasons that I can cite, that we should know which kind of partner we want and should work with.


For many years now, I haven’t chosen my partners based on best price alone. Price is an important part of the process, but the most important thing is to have a partner who understands how to have satisfied and valued customers. My partners must work with me to make the client feel as important as possible, and not simply one more customer that we will make some money from.


My partner must be an extension of my company, and will deal with me fairly in normal questions as well as to resolve a problem and do business in a way that is trusted, ethical, and committed in each step of the common process. We must understand the customer and put ourselves in his place as well to understand how to resolve a problem in the best way.


Good partners must think about each other and not only to make money and get out. This is how I work with my partners, to resolve problems and not cause problems, speaking unfortunately as one who has experienced both good and the bad partnerships in the past.


Currently, we work with selected partners around the world, partners that trust in us and we can trust them. We have worked hard to be seen as a trusted moving company, and we are looking for the same in our partnerships in the real meaning of the word. Let’s help each other to be more patient and ethical, work as a team, and to provide exceptional services to each potential customer who deserves our respect, commitment, and our empathy in this stressful moment of their life.
