In our July/August issue of 2020, we invited our YP members to tell the story of Women Leaders in the Moving Industry. This year, we’ve come back to that theme from a different angle to bring you the story of an emerging generation of leaders in the moving, forwarding and mobility industry.

Whether they work at a family-owned company, a small business or a multinational organization, YPs are passionate about making an impact on the world, transforming their companies into efficient, modern organizations, and using their skills and experience to improve the whole industry. Their aspirations are precisely in line with the old maxim, “a rising tide lifts all boats.”
Every contributor to this issue has their own story to tell, each with its own focus over a wide range of themes. They speak of the values they have learned to embody as leaders, and the importance of mentors (and some bad examples) they have encountered along the way. Innovation, both in the form of new technologies and of improved processes and efficiencies, represents another common thread. The overarching theme, though, is a sense of optimism, energy and determination that they all possess in abundance. Read on, and be encouraged that the industry will be in good hands for many years to come.
